How do you handle data security and POPIA compliance?

Tenant data is protected with strong, industry-standard encryption end-to-end, both at rest and in transit. Per-tenant isolation is enforced beneath the application layer, so even a coding error cannot leak data between organisations. We capture Information Officer details at organisation creation and ship a DSAR portal out of the box, so the POPIA s55 obligations are satisfied on day one.

Do you support PPRA trust account requirements?

Yes. You can run multiple trust accounts in parallel. Every movement is a double-entry journal whose balance is enforced by a Postgres trigger (deferrable, runs at commit). Monthly reconciliation reports are exportable for your auditor.

How does the Property24 + Private Property syndication work?

When you publish a listing, we generate a per-agency XML feed at /api/feeds/{agency}. You give the URL to your portal account manager — both Property24 and Private Property pull from it. The platform reports back syndication health (last fetched, parse errors).

What does the free trial include?

Full access to the Professional tier for 14 days. No credit card. At the end of the trial you can pick Starter, Professional, or Scale — or do nothing and your data is read-only for 30 days before purge (we email reminders).

Can I migrate from PayProp / Buildium / a spreadsheet?

Yes. We provide CSV import templates for properties, units, tenants, leases, and opening trust balances. Our support team will assist Professional and Scale customers with bulk migrations at no extra cost.

How does multi-tenancy work at a security level?

Every tenant runs on its own subdomain, and data isolation is enforced beneath the application layer with multi-layered access controls. Cross-tenant data exposure is structurally prevented rather than just rule-checked — a coding error in app logic cannot leak data between organisations.

Do you offer SSO with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

SSO via Microsoft Entra and Google Workspace is included on the Scale plan. Professional customers can request it as an add-on. We use OpenID Connect, no SAML required.

What about FICA and SARS reporting?

FICA KYC capture (ID, proof of address, source of funds) is built in, with auto risk-rating and scheduled re-verification. SARS exports include VAT201 (when applicable), IT3(b) for landlord interest, and Section 35A non-resident withholding — every line drillable to the source journal.
